Ossare Development Has Been Growing Rapidly

Introduction

OSSARE stands for “Open Source Summarization with Aggregated Reports and Extractions”. Open source software is software whose source code is available for modification or enhancement by anyone. The software is usually free and it’s often developed collaboratively.

Open source development has been growing rapidly, but not all projects are open-source built upon. So, this project aims to provide a fully open-source solution. In addition, different from other projects, we also support aggregation of extracted sentences from multiple articles into a single report which can be used to extract key-sentences again or directly applied for summarization purposes.”

what is ossare :

  • The project is an open-source solution for extracting key concepts from text.
  • It provides a set of features to extract keywords, phrases, and sentences from a text.
  • The extracted information can be used to generate summaries or reports on the topic at hand.

OSSARE stands for “Open Source Summarization with Aggregated Reports and Extractions”.

OSSARE is an open source project that mainly provides key-sentences extraction feature and text summarization feature to the user.

what is open source :

Open source software is a development model that promotes free redistribution and access to source code.

Open source software is usually developed as a public collaboration, where anyone can download the source code of the project and freely modify it. The most common form of open-source software is the Linux operating system, which is used by millions of people around the world.

Open source software

Open source software is software whose source code is available for modification or enhancement by anyone. The software is usually free and it’s often developed collaboratively.

The first open-source projects were started in the late 1980s by a group of programmers at Massachusetts Institute of Technology who wanted to share their programming skills with others. These people included Richard Stallman, an MIT professor who founded the Free Software Foundation; Bruce Perens, founder of Cygnus Solutions (which later became Red Hat); Guy Lopeteguy; Carl Andersen; Eric Raymond; Andrew Tridgell; Jeff Bezos (founder of Amazon) and others.

what is summarization :

Summarization is the process of reducing a text to a shorter version of itself. It can be performed manually or automatically, and there are several methods for summarizing documents. Automatic summarization should produce an accurate summary that is easy for humans to read and understand.

The goal of automatic summarization is to create an accurate summary from multiple texts so that you don’t have to go through each word individually when looking at your material later on in your research or writing process.

why ossare :

If you’re interested in knowing what ossare is, the answers to these questions might be helpful:

  • What is ossare?

Ossare (Open Source Summarization) is an open source tool that was designed to be used as a standalone tool. It can be used for summarization purposes and has been built upon several existing open source projects. The goal of this project was to create something that could make sense of large amounts of text data in order to facilitate machine learning analysis or help users better understand their data set through natural language processing techniques such as word count and TF-IDF indexing.

  • What does it do?

Ossare uses machine learning algorithms such as deep neural networks (DNNs), convolutional neural nets (CNNs), recurrent neural networks (RNNs), long short term memory (LSTM) models etc., which will then allow us not only identify different types of information within our documents but also gain more insight into our readers’ intentions when they read these documents using natural language processing methods such as word count and TF-IDF indexing

ossare is an open source project that mainly provides key-sentences

Ossare is an open source project that mainly provides key-sentences extraction feature and text summarization feature to the user. There are several projects providing similar features but they are not completely open-source built upon. So, this project aims to provide a fully open-source solution. In addition, different from other projects, we also support aggregation of extracted sentences from multiple articles into a single report which can be used to extract key-sentences again or directly applied for summarization purposes.

The main purpose of ossare was to help users who want to extract their own data without having any coding knowledge in order to build applications based on those extracted data sets. check out zachary taylor warner.

Knowledge about ossare

Ossare is an open source project that aims to build a machine learning based service for summarizing text. It works by using a variety of different types of text analysis and synthesis techniques, including:

  • Summarization – A process where the goal is to extract meaning from text by identifying key concepts or ideas within it and then presenting them in an easily digestible way.
  • Analogy – A process where two or more things are compared one-to-one (e.g., “both dogs and cats have four legs”) but with one thing replaced with another concept (e.g., “dogs = cats = humans”).

Conclusion

In this article, we have introduced the project “OSSARE”. This project aims to provide a fully open-source solution for key-sentence extraction and text summarization. The key features of this project include:

  • Open source software built upon Python’s docutils library
  • Support for multiple languages including Chinese, Japanese and Korean
  • Support for multiple file formats including HTML (plain text), Markdown (textile) and JSON (JavaScript Object Notation)
  • Support for various data sources such as web pages or documents stored locally on an user’s computer in various formats such as plain text (.txt), HTML (.htm) or rich text format (.rtf)
