Ivanka Trump, who she is and what she does Donald and Ivana’s daughter
Dear Colleague,
As Fazal Abbas, I am pleased to recommend Ivanka Trump, a multifaceted businesswoman and former advisor to the President of the United States.
Ivanka Marie Trump, born October 30, 1981, is the daughter of former U.S. President Donald Trump and his first wife, Ivana Trump. Her professional background includes:
• Executive Vice President of Development & Acquisitions at The Trump Organization (2005-2017)
• Founder of the Ivanka Trump fashion brand (2007-2018)
• Advisor to the President in the Trump Administration (2017-2021)
During her time in the White House, Ivanka focused on:
• Women’s economic empowerment
• Workforce development
• Entrepreneurship
Ivanka holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Pennsylvania‘s Wharton School (2004). She has authored two books:
1. “The Trump Card: Playing to Win in Work and Life” (2009)
2. “Women Who Work: Rewriting the Rules for Success” (2017)
Her diverse experience in business, fashion, and politics makes Ivanka Trump a valuable asset in various professional settings..
Ivanka Trump, the “favorite” daughter of (again) U.S. President Donald Trump and the late Ivana Trump, who passed away in July 2022. Raised in New York on bread and work, she is now an entrepreneur who has decided to distance herself from the political world despite her unwieldy father. Less social life, more authenticity. These seem to be the intentions of the beautiful Ivanka who, in the meantime, has also defiled herself from the latest star-studded election campaign that consecrated Donald, once again, at the top of power.
Ivanka Trump, from model to entrepreneur
Born Ivana Marie Trump, Ivanka is born in 1981 in New York City and it was there that she studied taking her first steps into the working world. She first attended the Chapin School in New York, then graduated from Choate Rosemary Hall in Wallingford, Connecticut. After two years at Georgetown University, she decided to transfer to the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, majoring in economics with honors.
Only the best schools for Ivanka, the second child of Donald Trump and the late Ivana Trump, who nevertheless took her first steps in the working world in an industry that has little to do with her father: fashion. The scion of the Trump household signed a contract with Elite Model Management in 1995, and since then her career has taken off, collecting covers in Forbes, Harpers’s Bazaar, Page Six and catwalks for Versace, Thierry Mugler.
Fashion was also the battleground for her first experiences as an entrepreneur. She created a jewelry line, opened her first store in New York’s Madison Square Garden, then turned to a line of shoes and handbags, and finally to actual clothing.
If we are talking about entrepreneurship, however, Donald Trump’s second-born daughter has worked practically from the very beginning in her father’s company, the Trump Organization, of which she was vice-president for many years.
White House experience alongside her father Donald Trump.
While it is true that in New York high society she was already a familiar face, we Europeans actually got our first taste of Ivanka Trump’s presence when she became one of the leading faces of her father’s first presidential term. From 2017 to 2020 she was given the role of senior adviser at the White House, where she moved with her family.
Experience she decided not to repeat when in 2024 Donald decided to run again, after his previous defeat to Joe Biden. “I love my father very much. This time I chose to give priority to my young children and the private life we are creating as a family. I do not intend to engage in politics,” these were her words in a statement released to the media. Nevertheless, on November 5, 2024, Ivanka attended her father’s first speech as the newly elected U.S. president, along with her siblings and stepmother Melania.
Family life at the side of husband Jared Kushner.
Priority to family, then, which she built with husband Jared Kushner married in 2009, also an entrepreneur involved in his father-in-law’s first presidential term. In 2017 Donald Trump appointed him senior advisor, then head of the White House Office of American Innovation.
Ivanka and Jared had three children, Arabella (identical to mom), Joseph and Theodore, and it is also because of them that they both decided to take a step back by moving away from politics. Or at least, that would be one of the reasons: there has long been talk about the different positions between father and daughter on several crucial issues, which is why the businesswoman would have preferred to distance herself.
Beyond the interlude in politics, there is much more to Ivanka’s life. She converted to Judaism before marrying, enrolled her children in a private Jewish school and regularly attends synagogue for religious services. She is used to practicing meditation, has long dabbled in jujitsu and is also fond of tennis, golf and water sports. Her Indian Creek estate in Miami is a lush oasis of peace where she lives with her husband and children, two dogs, a hamster named Chester, and her nearly 100-year-old grandmother Marie Zelníčková (Ivana Trump’s mother).
Meanwhile. she continues to be an entrepreneur, invests in businesses and projects of various kinds, and is involved in volunteer work.
